The villa
Teak, marble and open air, in the tradition of the great Thai houses
Villa Semaya is a single-level residence built in the traditional Thai style and laid out in a U around its infinity pool. It stands inside a walled private park of tall trees, so no neighbour overlooks the house, the pool or the gardens.
The living pavilion has no walls, only columns carrying a high timber roof. The breeze passes straight through the salon, the dining room and the bar, and the house is filled with the sounds of the garden rather than the hum of air conditioning.
At the heart of the park lies a large pond planted with lotus and water lilies. Beyond the canopy, the view opens onto the green hills of southern Phuket.
A living pavilion without walls
Salon for eighteen, dining table for eighteen, marble bar and a full-size billiard table, all under one soaring roof, all open to the pool.
A private tropical park
Walk under the canopy, picnic by the pond beneath a great ficus, or play on the 30-metre shaded pétanque court. The park is for the villa alone.
Staffed every day
Housekeeping, pool and garden staff on site from 6:30 to 18:00, with common areas cleaned daily. One round-trip airport transfer is included.

Villa Semaya sits in Soi Naya, a leafy lane between Rawai and Nai Harn on the southernmost tip of the island. Nai Harn, often voted the finest beach in Phuket, is three minutes away by car. Ya Nui, Rawai and the sunset viewpoint at Promthep Cape are all within ten.

How far is the villa from the beach?
Nai Harn Beach is a three-minute drive. Ya Nui and Rawai beaches are five minutes away, and Promthep Cape ten.
Is the villa private?
Entirely. The house and its park are enclosed by walls and tall trees, with no neighbour overlooking the pool or gardens. The park is for the exclusive use of the villa’s guests.
Is there staff on site?
Yes. Housekeeping, pool and garden staff work on the property daily from 6:30 to 18:00 and live in separate staff quarters. Common areas are cleaned every day and bedrooms every two days.
Is airport transfer included?
One round-trip airport transfer is included for the group. Additional transfers for separate arrivals cost 1,000 THB per way.
Is the villa suitable for children?
Yes. The house is on a single level with no stairs, and cots, a high chair, board games and a large lawn are available. Please note the pool and pond are unfenced, as is usual in Thailand.
Can we hold a wedding or an event?
The dining room seats 18 and the living pavilion opens fully onto the pool terrace, which suits celebrations. Please describe your event when enquiring so we can confirm what is possible.
